Loud and Proud - St. Scholastica's College, Manila Homecoming 2014

It was a heartwarming feeling to be asked to help in raising funds for our Homecoming for 2014. I am a Loud and Proud '89er. I love my school and i am very proud of my batch!

It's a great honor for me to create an artwork for something really close to my heart.

In the artwork you will find the words, Believe, Belong and Become.(1) BELIEVE signifies hope that good things will happen which will astound and amaze us; (2) BELONG signifies one community accepting each other's flaws and beauty; (3) BECOME signifies great leaders, decision makers and doing good service to others.

In the artwork you will also notice 3 characters: (1) The Tree of Life which symbolizes wisdom, protection, strength and beauty; (2) whimsical flowers which symbolize happiness; and (3) the lady represents a Loud and Proud Scholastican.
An excerpt of the lyrics of the song "Light of Casino" has been included in the artwork. This song holds a special place in the hearts of Scholasticans....well at least for our generation. This song reminds me of our Grade School days in the halls of St. Scholastica's College, Manila. I love singing this song to my darling daughter Hannah. I sing to her lullabies and different songs i learned from my school. Anima Christi and Light of Casino is always part of my repertoire. :)

Our batch are excited to share with you all two fantastic sites that offer amazing items that loudly declare how proud we are to be Scholasticans. Please check them out (apparel, accessories, tablet cases, stationery, note cards, etc.). They come in all shapes and sizes.

Your patronage will help us with our fundraising efforts for our Silver Jubilee homecoming and charitable works through St. Scholastica's Alumnae Foundation, Inc. (SSAFI). ALL ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE THROUGH OCTOBER 2013 ONLY so please check them out. PURCHASING IS EASY ACROSS EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD.
Original artwork WILL BE AUCTIONED. Auction will commence early August.
